代谢性疾病包括肥胖、糖尿病等发病人数不断攀升,中国人群患病数量均已过亿。代谢性疾病往往导致多种疾病并发或共存,特别是神经系统相关症状如抑郁、焦虑等,造成沉重社会与经济负担,但目前发病机理不清且有效治疗手段仍然缺乏。机体代谢稳态维持需要多个器官协同完成:中枢神经系统通过神经肽或神经内分泌通路调控摄食及外周代谢器官功能,而外周代谢器官也通过分泌蛋白、迷走神经等调控中枢神经功能。除遗传因素,环境因素特别是营养在这些调控中起重要作用。当以上某些环节出现异常就会导致代谢紊乱及疾病的发生。因此,迫切需要阐明中枢与外周互作机理,从而为阐明疾病发病机理及发掘治疗手段提供理论基础。具体来说,拟从以下几方面展开工作:
(1)中枢神经系统调控稳态信号;
(2)外周组织信号影响中枢神经系统机理;
(3)代谢性疾病及神经功能紊乱的营养感应机理及干预新措施。
