NeuroD1 cannot induce the transdifferentiation of microglia into neurons.

Date:2021-12-17 ClickTimes:

NeuroD1 cannot induce the transdifferentiation of microglia into neurons. The previously observed "transdifferentiation" phenomenon was actually caused by nonspecific viral leakage and experimental artifacts. Instead, NeuroD1 induces microglial apoptosis through the BCL2 pathway.
